Canada’s Whitehorse — comprised of husband and wife duo Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet — are in the midst of a cross-country tour in support of their PopMatters-approved 2012 record The Fate of the World Depends on This Kiss. As they make their way across the great white north, the pair is looking forward to a headlining concert at Toronto’s legendary Massey Hall — Canada’s Carnegie Hall, if you want — in early March. To celebrate this enviable gig, the rootsy rockers have recorded half a dozen songs by musicians that have played classic shows at the venue. They’re calling the collection (what else?) the Road to Massey Hall. PopMatters is proud to host an exclusive video from this series, Whitehorse’s dreamy take on Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me Babe”.
