The first one was Free EP from 2010, a companion to their new album at the time The Silent Surf. Then came Free Me in 2011, a hodge-podge collection alternate mixes and radio edits of songs from All India Radio past. Then came Don’t Leave from last year, a single/EP companion to their Red Shadow Landing album.
Now with Lo Fi Frequencies 1996-2001, we’re back in hidge-podge, cupboard-cleaning mode. Two songs are early mixes, three songs are demos from the year 2000, and the remaining 21 minutes are unreleased songs. If you require more information than that, then you are in luck. If you download the thing now, a pdf document will be included. Inside are three pages of liner notes explaining the fate of each track. The album is available here, complete with optional tip jar (to make you feel good about yourself, and possibly finance the following All India Radio project).
