Watch Blur Bring “Pyongyang” and “Beetlebum” to Williamsburg

Blur brought plenty of tracks new and old -- in addition to massive squalls of feedback -- to their recent gig at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Following several videos PopMatters has shared this week of Blur’s end-of-April concert at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg — including “Ghost Ship”/”Song 2”, “Lonesome Street”/”New World Towers”, and “Go Out”/”Trouble at the Message Centre” — we have two additional video captures of the gig. This time around, Blur perform “Pyongyang”, from their recent LP The Magic Whip, and “Beetlebum”, which comes from their 1997 self-titled album. The latter concludes in a massive feedback finale — check your computer speakers, we don’t want any ruptured eardrums on our hands.

The Magic Whip is out now via Parlophone; read PopMatters‘ 7 out of 10 review here.
