David Gassmann is a rock 'n' roll scholar with both a healthy respect for tradition and a hunger for the new and exciting. When not plumbing the depths of his record collection, he also plays and writes music, occupying the bassist position in a number of jazz and indie bands in the DC area. He also enjoys movies, but doesn't write reviews of those.
