Douglas Mann

Doug Mann is a sessional lecturer at the University of Western Ontario who has taught courses in popular culture, mass media, social theory, and philosophy throughout his career. He is the author of over one hundred articles and four books, including UNDERSTANDING SOCIETY (Oxford University Press) and GREAT POWER AND GREAT RESPONSIBILITY - THE PHILOSOPHICAL POLITICS OF COMICS. He's written an unpublished sci-fi techno-thriller named COBALT BLUE and is working on a series of dystopian short stories.
