Georg Malcovati was born in Berlin in 1983. After graduating from school in 2004 he studied theater and film studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. He received his B.A. in 2007. The same year he applied to the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and was accepted into their screenwriting program. In 2012 he got his diploma from the Filmakademie Baden-Württember . Since then he has been writing screenplays for various German television shows. In his spare time, he is working on a dissertation about zombies and political emotions.
