Hannah Givens is an independent scholar based near Atlanta, GA. She holds a BA in History from the University of Montevallo, and an MA in History from the University of West Georgia. Her primary areas of research are queer pop culture and Southern literary history. Previous publications include “Toros vs. Mannequins: Carl Corley and Queer Identity in the American South” on NOTCHES: (re)marks on the history of sexuality, 2019.
