Heather Augustyn is author of Ska: An Oral History, Don Drummond: The Genius and Tragedy of the World’s Greatest Trombonist, Ska: The Rhythm of Liberation, Songbirds: Pioneering Women in Jamaican Music, and Alpha Boys’ School: Cradle of Jamaican Music. She is a continuing lecturer of English composition at Purdue University Northwest.
