Terrence Butcher

Terrence Butcher is a freelance writer and film festival aficionado. He holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Antioch University, and an M.A. for Screenwriting/Film Studies at Hollins University. Previously he has written for The Pasadena Weekly and Forefront. Among his special areas of cinematic interest are mockumentaries, 1970s New Hollywood, international releases, low-budget horror, documentaries on film history, and anything LGBT-related. He has been a staff writer at Pop Matters since 2008. He currently resides in a leafy, historic suburb of Los Angeles.
