Afrobeat’s El’Vee Celebrate the Love of Football on New Single “Balotelli”

British-Nigerian twin sisters El’Vee bring thrilling Afrobeat textures to UK electronic club music on their latest single, “Balotelli”.

British-Nigerian twin sisters El’Vee bring thrilling Afrobeat textures to UK electronic club music on their latest single, “Balotelli”. The duo have collaborated with many notable Nigerian musicians. They are part of a thriving scene, especially in London, that has witnessed merging musical cultures to create something new and exciting. Powered by infectious beats that set your feet in motion immediately, El’Vee highlight street performers in the video shot on location in Lagos, as their dance movements call to mind the fast footwork of the best football players. Football is huge in African culture, and Africa has produced some of the finest players. El’Vee share that love and make a wholly original and nearly perfect club banger. We can’t wait to hear more from this up-and-coming group.

“This song was inspired due to our love for football and the talent that is Balotelli. Football has always been something that brings people together, especially in African communities, and we wanted to celebrate that passion through our love of Balotelli, who has been instrumental to the sport globally.”
