Chris Ingalls: The production is gorgeous — smooth, silky beats, blippy keyboards and warm low end — but that Auto-Tune is enough to put me into anaphylactic shock. That’s one of the downsides of modern melodic hip-hop. But there’s no denying that the groove is solid and it really is quite catchy. [7/10]
Chad Miller: The melody is not nearly as exciting as lines like “This is the shit that they ride to / This is what you drink and get high to” would have you believe. It’s not bad necessarily, but it’s nothing to get excited about. A lot of the lines aren’t great either, though I did enjoy some of the more emotionally tinted parts of the second verse. [6/10]
